Elfo On Ice
COCKBURN ICE Arena – Perth’s largest ice skating rink has recently opened and to make sure there is access to the upper level for those of limited mobility, an ElfoLift has been installed.
Featuring a AS1735 Part 15 compliant cabin size of 1100mm wide x 1400mm deep, the cabin has been fitted out with F12PPS similinox Italian skinplate walls and brushed stainless steel trims and profiles. The compliant 600mm handrail and non-slip Pirelli rubber flooring also ensure that those using the lift can do so comfortably and safely. The anodised aluminium doors at each level have been fitted with full size milk white glass and stainless steel Caspim door handles.
As part of the building works, the exterior of the shaft has been clad with a simulated timber tile at the lower level and a clean and tidy painted gyprock at the upper level – giving both levels their own distinctive look.
