WHEN THE owners first designed and built their home ten years ago, they had the vision and foresight to build a lift shaft at the time. Whilst the owners had the advantage of having extra storage at each level during this period (simple as building false floors at each level of the shaft), the time had come when they decided the shaft could be better used as originally planned for.
Enter the perfect solution in the sized to suit ElfoLift which can be designed in 10mm increments to work with any space available. In this case the shaft allowed for a cabin size of 1050mm wide x 1240m deep and with a standard ceiling height of 2100mm and 300kg load capacity, the owners now have a perfectly sized 3-4 person lift travelling at 0.3m/s from the garage to the 2 extra levels of the home.
Working to a minimalist clean and modern feel, white ruled the day from the RAL 9003 powdercoated gloss landing doors to the A32PP skinplate walls/profiles and ceiling. For some simple but complimentary contrast, the cabin also included and aluminium handrail and black Pirelli non slip rubber flooring.
Just too easy.
