WHEN THIS home in Shelly Beach was built the owners had the foresight to build a hoistway at the same time. Located on the side of the home, the hoistway then sat there in waiting until such time as it was needed.
Fast forward a few years later and the sized to suit E1 home elevator was the ideal choice to make the most of the shaft space available with a generous cabin size of 1100mm wide x 1400mm deep. With anodised aluminium doors and milk white glass, brushed stainless steel look skinplate (F41PPS) walls and ceiling, brushed stainless steel profiles, half height mirror with handrail and tiled custom flooring, the elevator looks clean and modern and matches the décor of the home and feels like it has always been there.
