THE ADDITION of a glass shaft and 2 stop Supermec lift was the perfect addition to this existing well-loved family home overlooking Melbourne’s Port Phillip Bay.
With a firm brief by the owner to have maximum glass for both the lift and the shaft, our manufacturer Elevatori Premontati excelled in designing a cabin with three glass walls, including the drive wall which is traditionally a solid wall. The shaft itself was designed with tinted glass to minimise unnecessary heat and glare but also positioned to maximise the views over the extensive rear grounds of the property.
Combining good design, construction and installation, the owner is delighted with the end result and any thoughts of moving due to the stairs have now been totally removed.
