Machine equipment/room options
Whilst most of the lift equipment is contained within the shaft, there are also some components located outside it. For hydraulic lifts (E1 and E2), there is a hydraulic tank unit as well as a wall mounted electrical/controller cabinet requiring a space of approx 700mm wide x 500mm deep x 1800mm high. We can also supply a fully enclosed cabinet in which to house this equipment.

How to install a lift with no pit?
Even though our lifts have a very minimal pit (with the Q1 elevator requiring no pit), it is not always possible to create this when installing into an existing building. As the lift is often being included to provide either wheelchair access or at least, access for someone of limited mobility, having a step up into the lift is not an option (and also in breach of building codes).
