Future Proof

AS STAIRS were becoming an issue in this cherished family home and moving was not an option, the owners decided the best solution was to install an elevator.   With close consultation, Elevator Boutique retrofitted a 320kg (705lbs) 1100mm(43.3″) x 1400mm (55.1″) FreedomLift 2.

The cabin was fitted with two mirror walls, a striking red feature wall (8830 red composite) and a polished ceiling. To offset this a white stone floor was installed (Snow white) and anodized aluminum framed glass doors on each landing.

To make sure the elevator could fit into the property, extensive building works were carried out. One part of this was shrinking the large master bathroom to cater for the shaft. In the end this certainly paid off because it looks like the elevator has always been there.

Overall a seamless project that the owners can now enjoy for many years to come.
