Hobsons Bay Yacht Club

Sitting in a prime position on Hobsons Bay/Port Phillip Bay, the Williamstown club has its origins back to 1888. Obviously there have been a few changes and modernisations along the way, including the recent refurbishment. As part of this makeover, an integral requirement was assisted access between the two levels of the building. The perfect solution for this was our opposite through car ElfoLift and also a bones only shaft. The bones only shaft minimised the level of building works required and provided a perfect base to apply a fabric cladding and wraparound stair case. The doors of the lift were powdercoated in a smooth black finish with medium size glass vision panels and the cabin fitted in F41PPS film glazed skinplate walls and non-slip Pirelli rubber flooring. To provide a striking contrast, all the internal profiles, car operating panels and handrail were provided in a highly polished stainless steel.”][vc_column_text]SITTING IN a prime position on Hobsons Bay/Port Phillip Bay, the Williamstown club has its origins back to 1888.
