TO MAKE access into these harbourside apartments easier for the elderly residents, the body corporate explored all the options available. The result of the thorough search was the selection of the Supermec and steel and glass shaft as the most suitable product available.

Spanning four levels and with an adjacent through car cabin configuration, the 1100mm wide x 1400mm deep cabin only required a small pit of 350mm (minor excavation) and minimal headroom of 2800mm (headroom was critical due to council imposed height restrictions). The shaft was especially prepared for the high salt environment with both zinc and powdercoat treatment. The overall colour scheme was a combination of brushed stainless steel, F12PPS similinox skinplate and transparent glass.

Once again it was a pleasure to come to the rescue and help people stay in their homes.
