AS FEATURED on Better Homes and Gardens.

The team at Lift Shop were excited to be involved in this unique design project, dubbed “The Hive Graffiti Apartments”. This project is the first in a series of Hip Hop buildings designed by ITN Architects in conjunction with ‘Prowla’ of the Rock Da City graffiti crew.

The major feature of this project is the facade which was fitted into the exposed brick shell of an old tailor’s shop and features built-in graffiti of the word “HIVE” complemented by arrows, swooshes and drips. The renovation wasn’t just bold but also sustainable. The architect tried to come up with a plan that would have as little impact on the environment as possible and felt our Elfo lift fit the needs of the project perfectly.

The ultra modern design of the home continues through to the interior which is fitted out in a sci-fi style. The property spans four floors, connected by 2 Elfo Lifts which were customised to reflect the sleek personality of the home. This was achieved by using powder coated steel doors with panoramic bronze glass and brushed stainless steel profiles. While the interior features a full length mirror and unique Anthracite Skinplate walls, which combine to make both lifts as modern and interesting as the rest of the home.
