PROJECT LEAD

Requirements

Assemble and install electric and hydraulic residential elevators. This position is for those with a mechanical or electrical background looking to enter an exciting industry. 

– High School Diploma or GED Certificate, Post Secondary/Technical School Certificate, or Degree  in Engineering or related field

– Knowledge of building and construction materials, tools and machines, equipment operation, safety procedures, software and technology, operational monitoring and analysis, repairing and troubleshooting systems 

– Skills required: critical thinking, written/oral communication, active learning and listening, adaptability, team-oriented, capable of heavy lifting, management of material and personnel resources, service-oriented, leadership qualities

 

Responsibilities

– Assemble, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electric and hydraulic elevators and shafts

– Interpret blueprints to determine the layout of system components

– Inspect and test electrical wiring, circuit connections, and fixtures

– Work with Trainer to train the Trade Assistant how to manage the build

– Maintain service reports and service logs

– Use tools, software, technology, applications as necessary for effective communication

– Communicate with clients, general contractors and trades on site

– Communicate with Project Manager and Trainer on Trade Assistant development and performance

– Drive company vehicles, ensure accessibility of supplies, and day-to-day planning and work flow
